     資訊科技的發展與應用正逐步的改寫企業經營模式與全球的商業環境。在講究快速應變、提高附加價值的競爭環境中,藉由資訊科技的力量進資訊的掌控與競爭優勢的獲取,已是企業競爭與生存的關鍵。
     As the year 2000 comes, the staffs of enterprises keep in their positions ready for response to the demands of information technology and go through preparation procedures again and again in case of Y2K crisis. Evidently the whole global enterprises are changing their business models and try to catch the tide of Internet. Since the World Wide Web (WWW) was introduced in 1993, the network communication becomes necessary to the success of enterprises. New activities come along with the electronic commerce (E-commerce) and business process reengineering (BPR), and so forth. E-commerce like B2B, B2C, and C2C gets rid of barrier of distance, reduction of response time and increases change globally. Providing value-added quality and service through Internet and innovating new processes to improve sales are important concerns for market strategies. Not only network facilitates connections between customer and business but also fast business information flow promotes the potential of market. Large volume of business needs the power of information technology. Enterprises must be adapted to this competitive change by taking the advantage of information technology.
