  新生兒聽力篩檢之需求已存在多時,但是直到科技發展已成熟到相當程度,全面性新生兒聽力篩檢計畫才開始落實於一些先進國家,本文整理一些與聽覺障礙、新生兒聽力篩檢有關之重要發現,並介紹國內外己採用的三種篩檢流程,此外,也對聽力篩檢在台灣之實施現況做一些簡介,期望透過對一些事實之了解,促使全面性新生兒聽力篩檢早日在台灣實現。
