The era of digital collections is coming. Libraries are facing exchange operating methods and service modules. After explaining the advantage and disadvantage in constructing digital libraries, the author introduces selections and formats of digital collections. Besides, a brief introduction to major digital collection libraries is provided for further discussion on library development trends.
