This paper first outlines the interlibrary loan services of the University Library, Chinese University of Hong Kong. It then focuses on the delivery of Chinese literature to the users. The difficulties in delivering Chinese literature, and the co-operation with other libraries on consortium basis is discussed. Although there are difficulties, the author expects interlibrary loan of Chinese literature would play an increasingly important role in the research and studies of the University, and in the foreseeable future, getting Chinese documents would be as easy and convenient as English documents, and interlibrary loans among Chinese libraries would be more.
