本文旨在對澳洲的圖書資訊學教育作一個詳細的介紹，首先說明澳洲 的一般背景資料與其教育制度，再來對該國圖書資訊學教育的發展歷史作一個概 略的介紹，最後將其課程區分為專業課程、圖書館技術員課程與研究學位課程來 介紹目前澳洲圖書資訊學教育課程的現況。
