The purpose of this study focuses on a day in school and analyzes its function. Then this study investigates how school educators perceive and view the "function of school" and what are the factors influencing their way of thinking about this subject. Result of the research reveals four major layers of factors concerning school workers' reflection on "functions of activities": formalism of school personnel, school system, cultural and social influences, blurred objectives of school, beliefs and values of school workers. As for the function and dysfunction of school education, the main manifestation lays on three dimensions, such as good values, attitudes toward competing for resources, socialization and duplication of social unequal, discipline, care and dependency…etc. Finally, the researcher addresses some introspection toward this study.
