The Purpose of this study is to analyze the medals won by the NCPES (National College of Physical Education And Sports) weightlifting team for international competitions. The duration of data analysis if from the first of August in 1987 to the twenty-eighth of February in 2001. The results of this study are as follows: 1. For all kinds of international competitions, the number of medals won by the weightlifting team is 313 medals, which is 37% of totals medals won by all NCPES sports teams. The number of medals won by women weightlifters is about 300% of that won by men weightlifers. 2. For the five kinds of international adult competitions, the medals won by men weightlifters cover the lighter weight categories, but the medals won by women weightlifters cover the light, middle, and heavy weight categories. 3. For the five kinds of international adult competitions, the peak of number of winning medals appears in the first year after graduation for men weightlifters. And the peak of number of winning medals appears in the third year after graduation for women weightlifters. 4. For the five kinds of international adult competitions, the numbers of medals won by men students and men alumini are probably equal, but the number of medals won by women alumini is much larger than that won by women students. 5. For the five kinds of international adult competitions, the numbers of medals won by men weightlifters in order are 20 medals in total, 12 medals in clean & jerk, and 8 medals in snatch. And the numbers of medals won by women weightlifters in order are 74 medals in total, 55 medals in snatch, and 53 medals in clean & jerk. 6. For the world championships, the average weights lifted by women weightlifters are 90.2 kg in snatch, and 111.4kg in clean & jerk. The average weight in snatch is 21.2kg less than that in clean & jerk.
