The Digital Library is emerging as an important area of research and education for information science, computer science and a number of other related disciplines. It is necessary to have a lot of professionals participate in Digital Library research and development. This article mainly discusses Digital Library education and how to design related courses. It uses research methods of case studies and web content analysis and conducts a survey of digital library courses provided in the United States and Taiwan. The article makes conclusions and suggestions on course content, level of programs, and teaching methods of Digital Library courses.
