This study aimed to explore the experiences that the programs of school-based curriculum evaluation have been fulfilled in the past, for example, in England and San Francisco. First, we introduced both school-based curriculum evaluation programs in England and San Francisco. Next, we compared and analyzed the differences between the both programs. We can learn the lessons by clarifying the procedures of school-based curriculum evaluation. The comparative study may provide valuable information for understanding the real situation in implementing the school-based curriculum evaluation.
