Many researchers have recently discussed congestion in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Their arguments did not pay attention to several economic implications derived from its dual formulations. Meanwhile, this study explores such dual formulations related to DEA congestion and discusses these economic implications in production economics, all of which are not explored in these previous studies.
