The main purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among students’ Type A behavior , the type of power that they perceived their teacher use and perceived their school stress. To serve the purpose , 1263 sixth grade students from Kaoshung area were surveyed. This study has come up with the following results: 1.There were significant differences of students’Type A behavior on school stress. 2.There were significant differences of the type of power teachers use on school stress. 3.There were significant relationship among students’ Type A behavior , the type of power teachers use , and school stress. 4.Both students’Type A behavior and the type of power teachers use had significant explanation on school stress. Based on the results of this study , the implications in education were discussed.
