本文在兩個層面上對漢語動詞和形容詞組合形成的述結式結構（本文記做VC 結構）的組配性質進行了探討。一個層面是述結式內部的組配性質，即哪些動詞跟哪些形容詞能夠組配成為VC 結構；另一個層面是述結式外部的組配性質，即VC 結構整體在跟名詞性成分組配時，有哪些性質特點。對此本文又分為三個方面加以考察，即（1）VC結構的論元特徵；（2）論旨角色特徵；（3）VC結構對論旨角色的語義選擇限制特徵。本文十分強調分析結果在實際應用中所能發揮的作用，因此在對VC結構的組配性質進行上述分析過程中，也對計算機如何判定漢語中“v＋a＋n”序列的結構層次做了探索，給出了消歧規則。

　　　　　The argument structure of the Verb-Complement (VC) in contemporary Chinese is analyzed on two levels: (1) a description of the constraints on combinations of verbs and adjectives of which the VC is constructed; and (2) a focus on the argument structure of the VC construction, theta roles, and selectional restrictions related to the VC construction. It is worth noting that the argument structure of the VC construction is significantly different from that of its two components, the verb and the adjective. As a practical application of this work, the ambiguous pattern verb + adjective + noun, which could be parsed either as [verb [adjective noun]] or as [[verb adjective] noun], can be disambiguated.
