The purpose of this research was to confer the students' interests on the expectation of course description for the elective Volleyball courses. Furthermore, this research also analyzes the comparison on the expectation between male and female students towards the course description, and the expectation's differences on course description between students with different educational system. The research sample for this study were taken randomly from the students. who were enrolled in the interest elective courses for Volleyball and those who were also in their first semester of the 2003 academic year in Kun Shan University of Technology. There were total of 366 questionnaires (156 male; 210 female) collected for this research. This study was evaluated by using the questionnaire of Chi-Meng, Liao's "The Junior Colleges' Basketball Students' Participate Characteristics Behavior & Examine Their Needs Towards The Course Description Differences" questionnaire to modify as "students' interest on the expectation of course description for the elective Volleyball course". This research used the Cronbach a of analysis reliability , T-test, and the single differentiate factor analysis to obtained the results as follow: 1. There was significant difference shown on all the value of expectation for course description and mid-value. The difference was only on the high-Iow value of expectation. 2. The comparison results from male and female students' expectation toward the course description shown that female students were more favor on low-tossing and serving subjects, the significant value of expectation shown (p<. 05), however the male students were more favor on closing and spiking subjects, there was a significant value of expectation compare with the female students. As a results, it interpret that the male students like to learn and practice the offense and command-control of Volleyball. 3. The comparison results on the three different educational systems including 2-years colleges, 4-years colleges, and Junior Colleges, on Volleyball's sports injury prevention and world standard Volleyball competition video appreciation, the results shown that the 2-years colleges have the highest significant value of (p< .05) compare with the 4-years colleges and Junior Colleges.
