in reviewing of the under-performed results in the 2002 Asia Game, Minister Yu clearly pointed, it is not only the policy by the government, but also the expectation from the whole island-wide, to win the champion in either the Asia Game or the Olympics. Since Taiwan started promoting the sport techniques, until today, our performance has been upgraded and completive to the international standard. We find that, in the techniques, our players are as good as the foreign ones and, sometimes, we perform even better. However, besides body status, physical endurance is another significant difference in between Taiwan and foreign players. For example, the soft tennis, we won the champion of women group form the 1st Asia Game, yet, until the 11th Asia Game, we won again. The honors were included the champions form women group and men group, the Gold/sliver/Brown plates by women single. The silver/Browne plates by men single, the God/Brown plates by mean double, and the silver by women double. Looking at these records, the soft tennis can be seen as one of the targeted sports for us to win in the Asia Game. The sport technique is the key to influence winning or losing the game, yet stamina and technique are the determining factors. Stamina is the foundation of performing techniques; furthermore, the basics of physical and combined techniques. In order to enhance the level of techniques for soft tennis by physical training, we have to strengthen and target the following physical training elements. 1. Receiving and returning a ball, 2. Serving a ball, 3. Volley and 4. smash etc. This document is to summarize the training procedures of sport ability, flexibility, and stamina in order to provide the reference for those soft-tennis players in physical stamina.
