「關係涉入」(relationship involvement)意指,組織為了關係的建立、維持與發展,而與夥伴進行組織整合與互動的程度。本研究主要探討買方與賣方關係涉入之前置因素與影響結果,並以關係特徵做為調節變項。研究結果顯示組織之策略意圖與關係傾向對買方關係涉入程度有正面顯著的影響。買方關係涉入程度與賣方關係涉入程度間也存在著密切的關聯性,且買方關係涉入程度與賣方關係涉入程度提高時,將可更進一步提昇關係績效,甚至超越單方面所能達到的關係績效。此外,組織間若存在權力的對稱,將對組織的關係涉入程度與關係績效具有正向強化效果。
