Although the Article No.6 of the Fundamental Law of Education has basically claimed the principle of neutrality on religion and politics, there is still lack of detail regulation on the subjects. Many religious societies have been extending their career to the area of culture and education for years, and trying very hard to influence the schooling and its personnel recently with kinds of activities, such as Buddhism Test or admitting the validity of teacher further studying held by religious groups, to which the education authority had not yet made any investigation needed for the establish any criteria to clarify the relationship of interaction between religions and schooling. Therefore the situation needs some further analysis and criticism. The study therefore tries to explore the reasons of ignorance on the subjects of religion in scholar community of our country under the context of socio-historical backgrounds firstly. Secondly, to examine the boundary between religion and schooling of elementary and junior high schooling from the contents of teacher further study in its passport offered by ChangHua County, and then to clarify the concrete curriculum strategy on the basis of neutrality of education by taking the reference of regulations of the boundary of religion and schooling in USA and Japan. Finally, the study concludes with some suggestions as following: 1. As a plural society, for avoiding violation on the principle of no propaganda for any particular religion, the education authority and schools should treat every religion fairly. 2. While introducing any materials concerning religion into schools, the liberty of belief of every student should be respected and treated equally. 3. The education authority should establish the enforcement regulations regarding the relationship of interaction between religions and schooling as soon as possible.
