本文採文獻分析的方式，以了解婦女從事休閒參與時所面臨的休閒阻礙與休閒問題之相關特性，以研擬休閒策略及休閒服務之發展方向，其中先探究休閒阻礙的意義及其相關之研究，並說明休閒阻礙研究可能發揮的功能。第二個部分就休閒阻礙相關之研究較周延之歸類，包括內在的阻礙、人際的阻礙與結構的阻礙，來論述婦女休閒阻礙之要素。第三個部分則對論述之結果，研擬克服婦女休閒阻礙之策略。最後一個部分則由策略中覺知婦女休閒在實務應用上的重要問題，依此將提出公部門、私部門與商業部門於未來婦女休閒服務方面可開展之面向。
This paper used material analysis to explore woman's leisure constraints, leisure problems and than produces the development dimensions of leisure strategies and leisure service. The first approach is to discuss the meanings, related studies and the functions of leisure constraints. The second approach applies the better classification of the related researches to expound the factors of women's leisure constraints that include intrapersonal, interpersonal and structural constraints. A third, emerging approach is to make some strategies to get over women's leisure constraints. Finally, the approach is aware of the important issues from above strategies. This paper will be addressed that the development dimensions of leisure service for woman from public, private and commercial departments.
