本研究為第二/外國語言習得之動機理論整理。在外語學習環境及第二語言學習環境的基礎下,本研究將逐一討論整合/工具性動機理論、社會教育理論、期待-價值理論、自我決定理論,及第二語言學習動機過程模式理論。並強調理論應應用於課堂教學中方能有助於第二/外國語言之習得。
This paper provides motivational studies in relation to second/foreign language acquisition. Based on foreign language context and second language context, Gardner and Lambert' integrative/instrumental motivations, Gardner's socio-educational model, expectancy-value theories, self-determination theories, and process model of L2 motivation are presented. It also addresses the issue of applying theories to practice, so as to assist successful second/foreign language acquisition.
