     基於國家人才培育的重要性觀點來看,資優低成就不但是社會的損失,也可能造成消極的自我概念和自尊心低落,而形成自我孤立(Whitmore, 1980)。綜合許多研究者發現,大多從個人因素、學校環境以及家庭環境三方面探討。低成就資優生是資優教育體制下產生的,學校老師是第一個發掘者,有必要必有義務為所謂低成就資優生尋適切的教育措施,如此才不違背教育的真意。
