This paper is a study of the various editions of Huaquan Ji華泉集by Bian Gong邊貢(1947-1532), a renowned writer of Ming Dynasty. In the “Bibliography From Qianqing tang”千頃堂書目, the total number of volumes of this book is nine, including 8 volumes of poems and one volume of essays. However, according to the Literary Chronicle of the Ming History明史藝文志, and those in the Siku quanshu四庫全書, the number of volumes and the contents are different. Having looked into and compared these extant records in the catalogues, as well as the editions kept in the collections in Taiwan, the author traces the development of the block printings of Huaquan Ji and points out the similarities and differences among these editions.
