The research attempted to investigate the perception of the local populace of Taiwan's leisure farms on the impact of tourism development, especially the impacts on economic and socio-cultural, as well as environmental perspectives. “Ching-Jing Farm” of Jen-Ai Town in Nantou County was chosen as the research setting. In this research, it was found that from the economic perspective, tourism development would attract outsides to pour investment capitals into, and help the sales of local products which would help increase the local economic development; the locals could thus took the advantage based on such tourism activities. From the socio-cultural perspective, the locals would publicize the Pai-Yi culture to tourists as visitors came into the village; besides, the locals started to interact with visitors. From environmental perspective, the communication system and electric equipments were distinctly improved. According to the research results, a number of suggestions were also provideed to the local administration and business organizations, as well as to the local populace.
