The research was to study the learning demand of physical education class at a Taipei elementary school. A survey was conducted to analyze students' expectation, reflection and learning demand of physical education class based on the theory of consumer behaviors "Expectation--Disconfirmation" in order to understand the difference among the students. The following results were found under this study: 1. The elementary school students' learning demand factors were self-improvement, professional knowledge, professional abilities, ranking performance, leisure interest and health fitness. 2. Most students care for their leisure interest and health fitness. Boys care for their leisure interest most, and care less about performance on their expectation of physical education class. 3. The highest realization of students' learning demand of physical education was professional knowledge, professional abilities and leisure interest. The lowest realization of students' demand of physical education was ranking performance.
