This study discusses the influences of strategy and tactics in the judo competition. Strategy includes the collection of information, weight control, interpretation and comprehension of the rules for optimal performance in the competition. Tactics includes contest-area tactics, judogi-grabing tactics and coach's guidance which are greatly influence the result of competition. win a Judo contest, a Judo competitor must have training hard conduct a long term weight control program collection of information, analysis of an under go imitative practice specific competitors in the same weight category In addition, for different types of competitors, short-term tactics is used to be mock for and judogi-grabing practice and contest-area tactics. To promote the whole competitive ability and reach the goal of "If you know the enemy and know yourself, the victory always belongs to you".
