This study was conducted with the qualitative method based on the interview with four selected male professional tennis players about their transformation processes and their successes. The findings are as follows: (1) Training process and background: All interviewees' contacted with tennis under family member's influence and guidance and also because of their fathers' enthusiasm in tennis; Parents have played a major role for their success. The starting age is from 5 to 8 years old; early contact with tennis sport has been helpful for their success in competitions. (2) The difficulty and barriers throughout successful process: Male's tennis player generally has the funding deficient problem, and the lack of tournament experiences and trainings, and because of the funding problem they couldn't have their own coaches with them to the tournaments, therefore, they cannot concentrate fully in competitions. Professional tennis player improve their mental toughness, playing strategies and physical strength through the years of their experiences with professional tennis. (3) The importance of family to professional tennis player: Four interviewees first contacted tennis sport because of their parents and family support which is an essential key to the professional tennis player, even under such difficult sport environment. It often becomes a concern of over interference from their parents' which causes the poor parents and children relationship. How the parents support their children but don't intervene the tennis specialized domains is needed to be educated, they also have to understand it is not an easy job to be a professional tennis player. (4) Time of training and the difference of characteristics: A professional tennis player practices average of 5-6 hours, It is necessary for professional tennis players to have a regular and long practice daily. Normally, they spend most of the time in the training centers overseas for the better practice environment. Most of the professional tennis players in Taiwan achieved outstanding results in junior tennis. Funding, training environment and training experience though the tournament and the support of the family are also the keys for the professional tennis players other than their own ability.
