In social science, it is popular to use numerical categories as quantitative measure in describing behavior. But human behavior have subjective and complicated characteristics, sometimes, the answer yes or no which though we know as most people's response doesn't really mean the truth. With the effect of different emotion and situation factors, the real answer will always be fuzzy. The purpose oft his study is to compare the difference of the result between the fuzzy statistics measure and the traditional measure in the internet addition. It is found that the frequency distributions of the two measures are different. The fuzzy statistics measure will originally reflect the responses of the subjects, that means the extreme value frequencies of the fuzzy statistics measure is higher than the traditional measure. In the fuzzy statistics measure the answers of the subjects will distributed more averagely in different response choices. The index of internet addition for single item can be used as the orientation in therapy.
