由於資訊科技的發達,開啟了教育研究的新紀元。網路研究方法在母群體、資料的提供與研的領域上與傳統研究方法有所不同,它是一種利用網路跨疆界的分佈性,來進行科學的探索,網路調查法即利用網路虛擬世界來作為研究的工具以執行研究的一種方法。
網路調查在所有調查研究的改革過程中,是一具發展前景的方法論,並已逐步為社會科學研究所採用,但其本身所可能產生的問題,如網路知識與資訊設備、調查網頁的設計、網路倫理等都是有效網路調查所應考量的。本文主要在藉由網路調查研究問題之探究來建構有效的網路調查研究策略,其目的不在建構描述一種基礎的網路調查平臺,而是希望從社會研究中所建構的派典脈絡來思考網路調查研究的要素,作為有志於從事網路研究者進一步探討之參考。

Owing to the development of information technology comes the new era of educational research. The web research methodology, using the web trait—without limits—to do scientific research, is different from the traditional research method on the population, the provision of data, and the research field. Therefore, the web survey employs the virtual world as the research tool to perform the research.
The web survey has become promising in the reformatory process of all the survey research and is gradually adopted by the social science research. However, the web survey probably probably causes some problems, such as the web knowledge and information equipment, the design of survey homepage, and the web ethics, which should be taken into consideration for the effective web survey. This research aims at constructing the effective web survey research strategy by means of exploring problems of the web survey research. The goal of this research is not to construct and describe a basic survey platform but to consider the elements of survey research from the trends built by the social research and offer some suggestions for other web researchers who are interested in further research.
