The purpose of this study was to understand the perceptions and behaviors about excellent principals' school management performance in elementary and high schools in Taiwan. Fifteen excellent school principals participating in this study were given the School Management Performance Interview. Data from interview, were analyzed with reference to six dimensions about school management performance. The six dimensions were as follows: school vision and philosophy, personality and attitude, school planning and development, administrative management, curriculum and instructional leadership, and school public relation. Research findings indicated that all behaviors of those principals' school management performance were positive, high, and of variety.
