近年來隨者電腦科技的日新月異,整體國際經濟發展對英文的需求,結合文字、聲音、動畫的電腦多媒體英文教學已蔚為風氣,並已成為英語教師的教學利器之一。有效的運用電腦輔助教學的確能提升英語學習者的學習動機與興趣,亦可彌補傳統教學不足。然而現階段之電腦輔助教學亦有其限制,如英語教師電腦專業知識之不足。本論文之主旨在探討現階段電腦輔助教學運用在英語教學上之優缺點及限制。並提供英語教師在運用電腦輔助教學時一些建議。

Nowadays in everywhere around the world, the burgeoning hi-tech develops every minute noted by information technology. The information revolution and globalization in world economic activities calls for foreign language, especially English as one of the key means in communications and exchanges with other countries on the earth Therefore, English teachers are confronted with the problem of how to help their students learn and use English as a diplomatic tool, in order to face the demand of the situation. The emergence of multi-media helps the teacher achieve the best teaching results by presenting perceptual and auditory materials that greatly enhance the students' interests and initiative in English study. This thesis focuses on the computer-assisted multi-media teaching and provides some suggestions for the teachers.
