書法字型具有豐幅的藝術情感，不僅可以達意、更可以傳情。本研究討論電腦書法字型之意象情感，並進一步釐清字體特性之關係。 本研究以語意調查法探討書法字型，研究選取電腦書法字為樣本，並以量化統計之分析方式，探討人們之心理意象，將所得之資料進行多變量分析。 藉由語意差吸數孛圖表、群集分析、因素分析之因素負荷量、意象空氣、因子得點等等結果，了解書法字型之意象感覺，以供設計時風格之客觀參考準則。
The calligraphic fonts have abundant art emotion, not only expressing meaning but also emotion. This research discusses the emotion of the computer calligraphic fonts, and distinguishes the relation of the characteristic. A study used the semantic differential method to investigate into the image of computer calligraphic fonts. Choosing computer Calligraphic fonts samples, the author of this paper, however, proposes to use quantitative statistics, inquire into the people’s mental idea, and analyze through multivariate analysis of variance. Getting the results through SD profiles, cluster analysis and factor analysis including factor loading , image space, factor scores, readers may understand the image of calligraphic fonts. The results make objective references through the use of calligraphic fonts.
