資訊科技應用以電子網路連接人與工作、大幅加速資訊流通，不但改變傳統工作方式、促使企業內外組織之功能以電子方式整合，其應用不但改善企業流程或改造組織關係，而是企業用以提升競爭力、生產力及創造內外通路環境優勢的項策略運用。企業為利用資訊科技提高競爭優勢，必須配合改變管理與組織結構。因此資訊科技對企業組織之影響為企業管理之重要課題，本文以資訊科技之影響為基礎，針對資訊科技商務應用中心最為基礎廣泛之電子資料交換（Electric Data Interchange，簡稱EDI）為例，歸納整理相關研究之結論，並就EDI特性及相關應用個案分析其對企業組織之影響。

The application of information technology connecting people and the work with electronic network, increase the information flow and change the pattern of traditional work, then integrate the function and organization al structure of industry by electronic way. The usage of information technology could improve industry procedure or restructuring organization relationship, and promote the competitiveness and productivity of industry. The impact of information technology on organizational structure becomes a important issue. This paper focus on the application of electronic data interchange in the distribution industry and the impact of organization al structure.
