This article's purpose is to outline Dr. Sun Yat-sen's discussion and narration on "unification" after Republic of China was founded. He spent his energy on attaining the unification of China. He wrote and published much material on this subject to ensure that unification would be maintained. Firstly, his thesis induced me to ponder on unification. It pointed out his steadfast position on democratic government, without threat from northern military warlords. Dr. Sun concluded that the democratization's China was his life's target. Secondly, the author is attempting, from Sun's viewpoint to discuss unification of China. He illustrates Sun's insistence that the majority would benefits from unification because it results in peace and democracy. So democracy and peace are more important and valuable than unification. We are all desirous of peace, and detest war.
