A Study of students’ Learning Pressure in the Elementary School If students do not have any pressure to have advanced studies in the elementary school, their lives are supposed to be happy and less strssful. The question is whether this social conception is true or not. This study is to investigate elementary school students’ academic and social pressure and compare it with what students’ perceptions were ten years ago. Parents’ attitudes, family organization, teachers’ behavior and peer social relations are the factors to affect students’ learning pressure and their achievements. The findings of this study not only help us understand students’ learning pressure but also help parents and school educators concern with the issue. Furthermore, it can analyze how the ten-year-education reform polices have influenced elementary school students.
