本研究的目的是在調查基層警察人員的運動休閒參與、運動休閒滿意、與生活滿意度之間的關係。本研究發出400份問卷共計回收有效樣本317份，有效問卷回收率為82.9%。所得資料使用描述性統計、皮爾森積差相關、單因子變異數分析、與雪費事後檢定等統計方法檢定研究假設，研究結果顯示基層警察的運動休閒參與、運動休閒滿意與生活滿意度三者之間有顯著關係，研究也發現基層警察的性別和年齡與運動休閒參與度之間具有顯著性差異，男性參與程度大於女性、31~40歲警員運動休閒參與的程度大於41~50歲與20~30歲；警察的教育程度與運動休閒滿意度和生活滿意度之間具有顯著性差異，甲種警員班畢業的基層警察的運動休閒滿意程度大於警專專科班畢業的警察、警察大學大學部畢業的員警的生活滿意度大於警專專科班畢業的基層警察，也大於甲種警員班畢業的警察。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between leisure sport participation, leisure sport satisfaction, and life satisfaction of policemen. By determining the relationship, if any, a more accurate picture of leisure involvement could be determined. The response rate of this study was 82.9%. The result of this study indicated there was a significant relationship between leisure sport satisfaction, leisure sport participation, and life satisfaction of policemen. It also showed that significant differences existed between gender and leisure participation, as well as age and leisure sport participation; and there existed a significant difference between education and leisure sport satisfaction, education and life satisfaction of policemen.
