文章對英國大學評鑒和中國大陸大學評鑒的現狀進行了概述，介紹了英國《泰晤士報》和《衛報》以及中國大陸武漢大學科學評鑒中心、廣東管理科學院的大學排名情況，並對兩國的大學評鑒了對比，指出國內應廣泛與國際上成熟的大學評鑒成果與方法相比較，學習和借鑒其先進經驗，以促進國內大學評鑒工作的開展。

The article summarized the current conditions of university ranking in UK and China, introduces the university ranking of《the Times》,《Guardian》, the Research Center of Chinese Science Evaluation and the Management Science Institution of Guangdong, and makes a comparison of them, then illustrates that in order to promote the development of Chinese university ranking, we should often learn from other country the mature results and methodology of university ranking.
