In a classroom with play-oriented curriculum, group discussion is regarded as an important daily routine activity. More and more researchers pay attention to the topic of classroom discourse. Many studies had been done on the structure, strategies of classroom discourse, and its influences on students’learning. The purpose of this study is to investigate the culture of classroom discourse. The researcher used observation and interview to collect the data. Qualitative method was used for data analysis. The results of this study will help teachers to reflect on their own teaching.
