This purpose of this study was to examine the prediction of coping strategies by competition trait anxiety and trait sport confidence among College badminton players. The Participants were 188 College badminton player by purposive sampling, and the mean age of the subjects are 20.94 (511=2.47) years. After receiving the informed consent, and the "Sport Competition Anxiety Test", the "Trait Sport Confidence Inventory", and the "Coping Strategies Scale for Competitive Stress" were administered before the game was conducted. The results of this study indicated that the competition trait anxiety and trait sport confidence could significantly predict "problem focus coping strategy", and the accounted for 27% of the variance of the "problem focus coping strategy" Competition trait anxiety could significantly predict "emotion focus strategy", and the accounted for 11% of the variance of the "emotion focus strategy". Competition trait anxiety could significantly predict "avoidance coping strategy", and the accounted for 5% of the variance of the "avoidance coping strategy".
