The purposes of this study were as follow: first, to examine the peak value of blood lactate and appear time after game in senior high school basketball players (centre, forward, guard). Secondly, to investigate the differences of the basketball footwork were used by different position. The participants were 12 HBL elite high school male players. Exam the blood lactate value at 1、3、5、7、9、12、15、30 minutes after game immediately; and collected the data of basketball footwork records from the real time films. One-way ANOVA was the statistical method (α=.05). Results were as follows: First, the average blood lactate peak value was 4.43±2.15 mmol•L-1, and appear time was at the first minute after game. Second, the record of stand/walk footwork has shown that there was significant differences among there position; the record of backward/forward moving footwork has shown that there was significant differences between centre and guard the record of sprint footwork has shown that the centre was lower than the guard and the forward significantly the record of high-speed side shuffle footwork has shown that the guard was higher than the centre significantly. In conclusion, our results had shown that maybe the peak blood lactate value was onset during competition, therefore, the after game blood lactate data were not as high as lab test data. From another point of view, because the low intensity, moderate intensity and high intensity basketball footwork required basic endurance, speed and power that there were significant differences among different positions.
