　　本研究利用策略群組觀點，分析台灣創投業策略群組的特性與財務績效表現，以瞭解創投產業的經營活動與資源配置情形，使業者能夠擬定最佳的競爭策略。最後研究發現，台灣創業投資事業可以區分為「大公司──積極型」、「大公司──穩健型」、「小公司──專業型」與「小公司──保守型J等四個策略群組。策略群組中以「大公司──積極型J與「小公司──專業型」的獲利能力較佳，顯示大型創投業由於擁有資金規模較大，以及可用資源較多等優勢，因此應該積極尋找優質的投資機會，獲取最佳的利潤。至於資金規模較小的創投公司，則應朝專門投資在具有發展潛力的特定產業，利用對特定產業提供專業服務，以克服資金規模不足的劣勢。

　　This paper applies the concept of strategic group on the venture capital firms in Taiwan to analyze their financial performances in order to help the firms with strategic choices in the future. The study shows that venture capital firms in Taiwan can be classified into four strategic groups, including "large, proactive firms" , "large firms with steady growth", "small firms with with aggressive characteristic" and "small firms in specialized areas" have better ability to make a profit. This suggests that large venture capital firms should take their resource-dominance advantage and seek for exceptional investment opportunities. As for venture capital firms with capital restrain, investment should be focused on those professional industries with greater potentials.
