Purpose: This study was to construct a model of testing fundamental hockey skills. Method: A total of 195 male players selected from four senior high schools, two universities and six counties representatives by cluster sampling. The returned data are tested and verified the validity and reliability of the assumed model of the fundamental hockey skill tests by confirmatory factor analysis. Results: The results manifests that this model, after two amendments, has passed the goodness-of-fit test and reflect good construct validity, convergent validity and construct reliability. Conclusion: The model of fundamental hockey skills could be applied as the reference resources of the learning achievement of senior high or college players or the standard enrolling prominent hockey players into colleges.
