This article aims at analyzing the status of WTO law in public international law. Following a brief introduction in Part I, part II examines the general relationship between public international law and WTO law. While part III discuss whether WTO law is a self-contented regime and, in certain respects, constitute lex specialis vis-à-vis certain rules of general international law, part IV deals with issues related to conflicts between WTO law and general public law. Some observations on the status of WTO law in public international law are included in final part.
