The "multiple, binary, and unitary (zero)" spiral structure is derived from classical philosophy. Our ancestors, while exploring the origin of universe, tried to construe the natural phenomenon as a transition from "physics to metaphysic" and vice versa. They concluded that the spiral structure implied the regularity of nature and also applied to literary creation. The "unitary (zero)" reflects truth. The "binary" corresponds to the function and process of goodness. And the "multiple" unfolds the flourishing beauty. This article, referring to Chinese classics Zhou Yi and Lao Tze, tries to relate the organization of writing to the representation of "truth, goodness and beauty". The author also highlights the beauty of neutralization as mention in Zhong Yong (The Doctrine of Mean). The "multiple, binary, and unitary (zero)' spiral structure gives us insight into a close and correspondent relation between the organization of writing and the representation of truth, goodness and beauty.
