This essay endeavors to research the universal ground-presuppositions, the basic elements, activities and structure, the systematical models and paradigms of hermeneutics, and then their applications in the intercultural-philosophical question-horizon of the contemporary world. We shall start from the etymology of the word hermeneutics-hermeneuein-to explore the original relation between thinking and language, and through that we can reach the test-understanding as the primary hermeneutic experience and phenomena. Here the process of understanding can be described in late idea of Heidegger, namly, of truth as <||>happening<||> (Geschehen) of Being, which could be represented in the <||>crossing<||> (Ubergehen)-dialectic of Hegel's speculative logic. From the text-understanding as ground-presupposition, hermeneutics can on the one hand avoid the basic problem-complex of ontological and epistemological dualism between thinking and being, between subject and object in the traditional Western philosophy, and on the other hand it is able to disclose further ground-presuppositions such as <||>person in context<||> and <||>text as medium or synthesis of spiritual (or ideational) and material dimensions.<||> From these we may inquire the basic hermeneutic elements like author-text-reader, the basic activities as understanding-interpretation-application, and the ground relation-construction of all these. This could be also performed with <||>Relation<||>-dialectic of Hegel's Logic. Furthermore we can develop the hermeneutic model-system, i.e., communication dialog reading translation models and so an. The understanding of classical text is especially the paradigm-model. Because right here the intellectual faculty of the understanding person and the spiritual dimension of the text come into contact through the idea-dialog. This event can also be signified through the <||>idea<||>-dialectic from Hegel's Logic. Therefore we can construe the practical methodic application-model for the intercultural philosophy from this dialectical-systematical hermeneutics as meta-theory.
