International air and space law covers a wide variety of topics of classic public international law. However, this autonomous discipline of law could also create new regulation of its own through a very unique process of application. So this is a branch of law of both traditional and modern character. A combination of perplexing theories and pragmatic perspectives. Not to mention its inherent nexus with the absolute sovereignty. Studying international air and space law therefore provides students with a rare opportunity to cross refer almost every basic legal branch which they are supposed to be familiar with, and by the same token expand their vision of these branches to a new horizon. This article is intended to reflect the difficulties encountered by the teaching of international air and space law in the law schools of Taiwan with an elucidation over the contents and programs of air and space law designed and practiced by those prominent law schools in the renown universities of the world, and consequently proposed to resurrect a more comprehensive air and space law programme for the law schools of Taiwan with certain new teaching methods so to improve the situation.
