This study examines the migrant worker-related NGOs in mainland China by exploring their resource networks form the perspective of resource dependence. The structure of the above-mentioned networks features with various actors heterophily linked and maintained with weak ties which are advantageous for NGOs to access and obtain essential resources in order to survive and grow. However, the resource networks are confronted by certain limitations notably the capital limitation. Excessively relying on overseas for financing pose high risk for those NGOs. To minimize their dependence on overseas organizations as well as international NGOs, raising funds form domestic should be an alternative for those NGOs to decrease their uncertainty in obtaining essential resources.
