本文旨在呈現臺灣近十年來高等教育意義及質與量的變遷，並針對大學家庭相關領域科系的現況做探討，期望以一競爭力模式勾劃出家庭相關領域科系未來的展望，以提供面臨高等教育變遷浪潮中家庭相關領域科系發展的參考。

This article is trying to present the meanings, quantity and quality changes of higher education in Taiwan the past decade and to focus on the family fields in universities by using the competition capacity model to provide a way for the fields facing the changing waves of the higher education.
