本論文主要目的係結合網際網路、資訊系統、資料庫三項技術，研發一套適合我國使用的桌球積分資訊雛形系統，以保存球員的比賽相關紀錄，並讓球員清楚的知道目前本身技術的水準、積分及排名，藉此訂定明確的奮鬥目標及方向。資訊雛型系統利用微軟公司的Visual Studio 2003. NET軟體撰寫。雛形系統開發完成後，即邀請中華桌協理監事成員、桌球教練及球員實際操作及使用，並透過問卷評估與訪談來瞭解該套軟體系統之優缺點，以作為後續程式修正的依據與參考。受訪者都對此套資訊系統給予肯定與認同，一致認為可作為國內未來實施桌球積分制度之管理系統。

The goal of this paper was to develop a table tennis computer rating information system, which is suitable for Taiwan by combining the techniques of internet, computer information system and database system. By keeping the table tennis tournament records, the proposed system would encourage the players to setup a goal for struggling by recognizing their skill level, rating and ranking among peers. For demonstrating this new rating system, an information prototype was developed with Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 Net Framework 1.1. After finishing this system, the officials of Chinese Taipei Table Tennis Association, coaches and players were invited to test and evaluate this proposed system practically. The evaluated results were affirmative and showed that the rating system developed in this study could really to be applied in the near future of Taiwan.
