題名:自然環境對自閉症兒童影響之初探:家長及導師訪談結果

自閉症是一種先天腦部功能受損而引起的發展障礙,目前常以「系統教學法」來作為改善。而依家長們親身照護自閉兒之經驗,多數家長認為目前醫界或學界對自閉症之改善措施,並未根源於病童對陌生情境所發生之恐懼情緒,且多數家長也認為自然環境對病童的情緒放鬆有所助益。因此,本研究之目的為:藉由訪談自閉兒之家長及導師,以初步探索自然環境對自閉兒之病情有否改善的效果。本研究以台中及彰化縣市25位自閉症兒童為對象,請病童的父母於研究進行的期間(自2006年11月12日至2007年4月28日),自行帶領兒童至自然環境。這段期間,病童依舊維持原本的生活模式,也不進行任何原本既有額外的治療。綜合三次訪談家長及導師的資料所進行的內容分析顯示:至少有19位(76%)病童其情況有所改善,而這些改善以行為最普遍、情緒居次、溝通第三。
Autism is an innate ailment of brain, which causes developmental obstacles. The current remedy often uses "systematic teaching." However, based on the experience of personal caring for the children with autism, the parients believe that the existing treatments fail to deal with the frightened emotions deeper inside the autistic children when facing with unfamiliar situations. In addition, most parients believe that contact with nature is helpful for the autistic children's emotions. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the influences of natural environments on the children with autism by interviewing the parients and the teachers of the autistic children. This study recruited 25 children with autism as the subjects, who lived in the cities or counties of Taichung and Changhwa. During the study period (from Nov. 12 2006 to April 28 2007), these children remained their routine lives without any additional treatments and were brought to natural environments by their parents at their wills. The results of content analyses of three interviews with the subjects' parents and teachers indicated that at least 19 children (76%) had improvements and among which the most popular was in behavior, the second most popular was in emotion, and the third communication.
