高速公路照明會對週遭之動植物生態造成明顯之衝擊,包括習性改變、族群變動,甚至可能造成生態系瓦解等現象。本研究目的探討高速公路人工照明對於沿線鳥類及昆蟲生態之影響,以國道高速公路為研究地點,透過自然環境狀況調查分析,且對於鳥類及昆蟲之種類和數量之瞭解,鳥類調查以定點計數法,昆蟲調查則以掃網法和陷阱法兩種方法獲得。研究結果指出鳥類數量在有燈地區比無燈地區來的少,而昆蟲方面,有燈地區則會造成昆蟲趨光致死之情形。本研究從道路生態中較少被提及討論的「人工照明」為出發點,以達到未來照明對環境及生物之傷害「降至最低」目標,最後並提出未來在照明工程上之應變措施。
Traffic light has significant impacts on the animal and plants along the road. The effect includes the changes of their habitats, changes of their communities, sometimes it causes the destructive of the ecosystem. The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of highway artificial lighting on the roadside avian and insect ecology. This study tries to investigate the natural environment along the national highway of Taiwan, which includes the understanding of the species and abundance of birds and insects. Point account method has been selected to be the survey of avian. In insect survey, use net-sweeping method and trap method to collect the data of insect. The result shows that there was less bird species in the lighter area compared to less-light areas. Further, more dead insects were found at the lighter area than the less light area. Finally, this study proposed the construction methods which could decrease the impacts of the artificial traffic light to a minimum level.
