我國家庭暴力防治法所定民事保護令制度，將民事保護令分為通常、暫時及緊急等三種保護令，其中通常保護令之救濟範圍較為廣泛，共有13種，暫時及緊急保護令之救濟範圍較為狹隘，有8種。我國民事保護令制度之救濟範圍較外國之禁制令制度為廣，法院不僅可以命當事人為或不為特定行為，如禁止施暴、接觸、查閱資訊，或命遷出、遠離或完成加害人處遇計劃等，法院還可以定暫時監護權、暫時探視權、物品使用權，或命給付租金、扶養費、律師費或賠償損害等。本論文主要從實務與理論觀點，分述三種保護令之共同救濟範圍及通常保護令之特有救濟範圍，期有助於法律之妥善適用與相關理論之蓬勃開展，讓民事保護令制度更趨於完備。

In Taiwan, the civil protection order system was adopted in the Prevention and Treatment of Domestic Violence Act of 1998. Under this system, a court may issue a full, temporary or emergency protection order, to enjoin the perpetrator from committing acts of domestic violence, remove and exclude the perpetrator from the residence of the victim, prohibit the perpetrator from communicating with or approaching the victim, etc. Moreover, a court may issue a full protection order to grant temporary custody of minor children, prohibit or restrain the perpetrator from visiting his or her children, order the perpetrator to bear medical expenses and living expenses, or to complete a treatment program for perpetrators, etc.
