The purposes of this study were to understand the sources, characteristics, questions, and strategies for solving problem, and to understand the situation and mission of the Physical Education Academic Center (P. E. A. C.) for the curriculum reform in senior high school. The method was interview which was used to interview 8 subjects, including 5 committees for the instructor, 1 academic committee, 1 full-time assistant, and 1 part-time assistant. The semi-questionnaire was used to collect the data which analyzed by the qualitative method. The results were in the following : (a) curriculum reform for P. E. in senior high school was to connect with nine-year coherent curriculum, and also matched the needs of educational trend, but it will face many questions, such as P. E teachers, parents, supports from administration, text book, and teacher education. (b) The P. E. A. C. was the bridge with Ministry of Education and P. E. teachers, and its mission was to deliver the standards of P. E., to develop the new programs and subject matter, and to do in-service education, but P. E. A. C. was a part-time organization which had not enough resources. In conclusion, it needed many strategies to support the curriculum reform for P. E, such as improving professional ability of teaches, changing the opinion of parents, communicating with the administrators, combating with writing and assessment of text book, changing the system of teacher education, and changing the situation of P. E. A. C..
